I am on a strictly tight budget, no more than $450, 400 is where I want to be. I will not be doing intense gaming, only Minecraft and older games like Oblivion, then stuff like music, videos, homework, ect. I want to know if this is a good Gaming PC to build? Also because I am new to this, are all these parts compatible? I'm pretty sure they are but I need to make sure. Also, would you substitute any of these parts? I CANNOT go over $450, let alone $400. NO INTENSE GAMING. I dont care for a graphics card right now, because Im going to ask for one for my birthday. The motherboard as onboard graphics. Thanks to all who help!!! (The total for these is $375)

I'd love to help, though half the links don't even work. So I would recommend listing all the parts down, to make easier for me or anyone else who could offer assistance.

Sorry about that, here:

you should go for a 750w psu so you never have to upgrade and maybe go for intel i5 3570k and a different mother board it will up the cost but its a much better build

This will never work in the build. he should get a 500w PSU. (plenty of power for any GPU) This will save money and he can get a better CPU. (fx-6300)

a six core for older games are you insane? even most games atm dont use 6 cores

I just wanna say that tiny voices knows what he is saying. If you weren't planning on getting a video card I would have said to go with A10-5800k. You can save some money getting a cheaper case, and using the money you save for some better components, or getting 8gb of ram.

Tiny Voices, do you think that the pcpartpicker wattage is a good estimator? (honest question, I usually use it as a guide, but im not sure how accurate it really is)

Not awesome. General rule of thumb. gtx550ti, gtx650, hd7750, hd7770, gtx650ti, hd7850 can all be done on a 450w PSU. The gtx660 and 650ti boost can also, but its at the top end of the limit.

gtx660,hd7870, 7870xt, 7950, gtx660ti, gtx670, hd7950, can all be done on a 500w PSU.

Generally it is proper to suggest any build use a 500w PSU. 600-650w can be suggested if the CPU is going to be overclocked and a Powerful GPU is being used. (gtx670/hd7950)

Anything more than 650w should only be recommended for a crossfire/sli setup or a gtx690/ hd7990.

Thank you for the info :)

Your saying that the difference between the fx 6300 and the phenopm arent by a lot? Im willing to pay the extra 30 bucks to get the fx. Is it the better choice?
