I am planning on building a PC for gaming and 3D-modeling and I would like to know if I can get any better parts than these for similar or lower prices. The parts are:
- (motherboard) Asus Maximus VII Hero
- (CPU) Intel i7 4790
- (GPU) MSI GTX 970
- (RAM) Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 1866Mhz
- (HDD) WD Red 2TB

The PSU I might get is the Cooler Master V550; is this enough?

Thank you very much :)

Hey Friend, all great choices. I would recommend looking at a less expensive motherboard for your 4790K.

I'm personally using the ASUS z97 AR motherboard and have been very pleased with it's performance. Not sure if youre close to a MicroCenter, but I'd 100% recommend buying your CPU+Motherboard as a bundle there; they have the best prices.

Aftermarket coolers would be a natural fit with the other high end components you've chosen...I prefer the closed loop coolers by Corsair for convenience/looks/and most of all performance (better than a large air cooler IMO, by the fact it dumps heat outside the case).

Great looking parts, awesome build dude. Take care!
