Is this a good PC build?

Hi guys! I'm new to PC gaming and I have experience in building PCs for people and college, however I never really took much notice in individual parts
I want to build my own PC and here is a shortlist that I have chosen, I am on a budget of around £300-£400, I would also like any recommendations on wide gaming monitors £150-£200
Here are the parts:

Msi AMD 970 g43 + am3. £59 pre order

AMD FX8320e processor 8 core £105

Msi nvidia GTX 750 TI twin frozr graphics card £105

Cooler master hyper tx3 Evo cooler £20

Silverstone precision ps13 desktop case £30

So guys that's it, I need a reccomendation on what ram to but 2x8gb. And I have a hard drive.
I basically want to know will it work together and what would YOU do if you were me?

What power supply do you have? also if i was you i would just buy 8GB of ram its plenty for gaming, do you plan to overclock your cpu? and also if i was you i would get a cooler master hyper 212 its better then the tx3 imo.

Stay away from that motherboard! That motherboard is only suitable for 6 core processors and 95W TDP MAX! The VRM overheats with processors that power hungry like the 8320 because it doesn't even have a heatsink. I made the same mistake and got that board when I was building my rig and the CPU would throttle all the time because the VRM was overheating (talking about 80-90C) and the CPU VCore would never stay still, it would always be dancing around. Get an Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 or a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and a Hyper 212 EVO.

Ah I see thanks for the recommendation what if I were to get the msi motherboard but got the 6 core processor from amd instead what that work?(trying to keep costs down) and if I get the cooler master evo 212 like you guys recommended

I've seen this board work with the FX-6300 just fine, I don't know how it will do with overclocking it. I don't know if the efficient version of the 8 core FX processors (FX-8370E for example) will work fine. Actually, if you plan on using that board, make sure you put heatsinks on the VRM, I used 2 packs of these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P87G1NU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage). I'd stay away from that motherboard at all costs to be honest. If you want reliability and for it to last a long while with no problems, go with another board (just make sure it's got proper VRM cooling and that the chipset is not lower than the 970), it's worth the extra money, and you'll even be able to overclock on another board too! 😀

Few things to think about, once you start getting coolers and better motherboards for the FX 8xxx models you may as well look at building a system around an Intel i5 CPU with stock heatsink and cheaper motherboard. Will be faster in most cases.

Another thing, the 750 Ti is a good video card, for the price. To match the faster CPU you are getting, think about going up to a 950 or maybe AMD R7 370 or waiting a bit till the new generation of video cards come out.
