Is this a good pc for gaming?

I have done this build i am just waiting for the GPU to arrive. Im wondering if this is a good gaming rig? Will it be able to run demanding games such as Metro at max settings without a problem or will i have to turn some settings down? The monitors resolution is 1920x1080

It will be fine, it will run Metro Last Light Redux 1080p at 60 frames per second at max setting. So your build is great (I actually feel jealous now since you can run metro better then me :S)

Do you need the 27 inch IPS monitor? If not than the ASUS VG248QE might be better. It is a 24 inch TN panel so it is smaller and has worse colors but It has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a 1ms grey to grey pixel refresh. Might suit gaming more than that, but its just my opinion.
