Hey I’m looking to buy my first pc, I play mainly rainbow six siege and other FPS type games. Under strict rules I have to get a new one so this is what I found. https://www.amazon.com/SkyTech-ArchAngel-Gaming-Computer-Quad-Core/dp/B077QDM2DP/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1546282447&sr=8-7&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=gaming+pc&dpPl=1&dpID=41WtKtFCKoL&ref=plSrch

I just want to know if this pc can run siege at a high FPS and good quality, as my Xbox (I know don’t hate) gets 60 FPS so if I’m going to spend double the money I want to make sure it’s worth it.

That build sounds horrendous. 32GB with a 2200g and a fairly weak GPU? I’d reccomend you look at the system I posted for around 700 and see the difference. If you can still get one of Walmart’s OP systems on sale te bottom end one for like 700/800 I think it was at was a killer deal. Just have to make sure everything’s plugged in all the way. Mainly the GPU 6+2 pin.

PCs are out of stock but this is a pretty good deal:

I've seen videos on YouTube of same spec with 2x8GB 3000 RAM, but 2400 RAM will likely cause some frame drops with Ryzen because it's Infinity Fabric core interconnects are tied to RAM speed.

These are the kind of reasons building your own makes sense.

Yeah, I’m at a complete lost as to how to build one, my parents (I’m 17) won’t let let me buy a used one (I can’t change their mind) and I have no idea how to build one. What are your recommendations for a new one in the $500-850 price range?

Its not a bad pc its just it could be better for example if its a strictly gaming rig than they could have gone with a core i3 8100 which is lower in price and still outruns the ryzen 3 1300x but yeah if you really want a good rig take some time to do research before rushing in and spending cash, look at some youtube vids about questions you have like on linustechtips and keep asking on forums like this about part reconditions

Research on how to build one and do it yourself. There are plenty of build guides up there. Gamers Nexus, LTT etc on YouTube are a decent place to start.

The PC you listed has a few mistakes like 2400Mhz RAM with Ryzen. 3000 is what you should be getting for a gaming PC and it only says 8GB, if that’s only a 1x8GB rather than 2x4GB the performance will be sub par.

Something around this should be good value for the price:

I always refer beginner builders to Newegg's 2 part build video guide because it covers hardware assembly and OS and driver installation. The parts used are a bit outdated but the procedure pretty much remains the same.

I agree with the above on the Intel 8100 btw, but buying the parts yourself and building it may afford you a 8400.

Alright so after looking around a watching most of the first video above ^^ I found this local business in my city that sells and builds custom PCs. I’m going to post the add for one, and it’s price is $700. I’d like to know if you guys think this is worth it, as I like supporting local businesses.
