[SOLVED] Is this a good PC to play the latest games at ultra settings 1080p 60fps?

Good but a few games won’t do 60fps at ultra settings with a 580.

That is actually enough to play some modern games at even 1440p at 60hz, even with a RX580. I just built one similar with RX580 for my gf's son and he plays Warthunder at 1440p on it.

I can always lower the setting a little bit. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm mainly building this for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Metro Exodus.

Agree if you carefully pick game settings but to run ultra on all games is a different matter.

1440p monitors are really expensive I'm wondering if I could get a decent 1440p monitor for less than 250-300$

Ok, in which case you are good. As long as you manage expectations that you may need to tweak settings instead of putting everything to ultra.
