Is this a good PC?

A few years back I bought a PC, the motherboard suddently broke for some reason though and now I'm going to build one instead. I will use some parts from the old PC like SSD and graphics card. Will these parts make a good PC? If there's something you think I should change please let me know.

Motherboard: MSI Z270-A Pro, Socket-1151

Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16GB

Case: Fractal Design Define S Black

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Power Supply: Corsair VS650, 650W PSU

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 970 (From old computer)

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB (From old computer)

Operating System: Windows 7 (Please no hate for not using Win10 but if there are some compatibility issues with the mobo for example please let me know).

BTW this is first time actually building a PC so I'm not very experienced with hardware.

I think it's a good pc. But there might be a bottleneck, because the i7 7700k won't be used to it's fullest potential. Therefore i think you should either save some money by buying an i5 or spend money on a better graphics card. I suggest buying an i5 because you don't need an i7 to play games, if that is what you are planning on doing. Plus you can always upgrade. You might also wanna invest in some extra storage maybe an SSD or another harddrive. 500 gb isn't enough for housing a lot of games. If you have the money buy an ssd (120 gb is a popular choice) and a harddrive. I'm ready to answer if you have questions

VS PSU's are awful quality, no place in a gaming pc but even less suited to a pc which will be overcooked. Get yourself a much higher quality PSU.

Yeah I know about the bottleneck, the thing is I don't play games that often and when I do the 970 is good enough for now, I do use emulators and stuff that requires a good CPU though so that's why. also I'm soryr I forgot to mention I do have an HDD aswell (2 TB). I found out that the CPU is not actually supporting Windows 7 but it will work fine anyways but I'm a little worried about the motherboard, is it a good one or should I consider another one?

Do not pair the cooler master hyper 212 evo with an intel core i7. Especially the 7700k. It will not be enough to properly dissipate the heat. Don't pair a $20 cpu cooler with a $350 cpu. Invest more on your cpu cooler. Get a cryorig or a notctua.

VS is equally bad if not worse. Actually the new range CXM are not too bad but the old green labelled CX are crap.

The new CX650m is a pretty good PSU. Cryorig H5 ultimate would be a much better cooler.
