I would suggest the 1500x but the 1600 is the best. Get the msi tomahawk / gigabyte gaming 3 b350 mobo.
Go for 3000/3200mhz ram.
Get the new cx 2017 psu from corsair. 550w min preferred.
I would suggest the AMD Vega next month. Prices of 1060/1070 and rx580/570 are stupendous.

It means silly pretty much.
@Lucky, the new CX 2017 series are still pretty crap, stick to the reputable current solutions.
@OP, what's your budget? 700? Drop the SSD, go for a 1600.

Yeah from the little you can find on the internet the 2017 CX isn't the same as the 2016 CXM, looks like they just added DC-DC converters to the old CX

I'm with Chugalug here. A SSD is nice but easily upgradable when you can get the cash. A 1600 will be good for many years, a 1400 probably won't.
If you partition your HDD in a size of your to-be-SSD, you can just clone it on the SSD when you get one.

The release price for the 1060/rx580 were around 250 bucks. Now they are available for 350 and above. The 1070 was priced around 350 and now it's min 450. So it's not worth the 100 bucks premium, especially so when you have the Vega releasing next month. But make sure to get it when the stocks are available. Otherwise it will be the same case cuz of this euthereim mining craze

You guys will have to point me to these CX 2017models ??

I'd you're meaning the non modular variants of the 450/550/650m then no they're the same platform as the 2015/2016 cxm's & are good quality.

dirtybageled- you're in oz but are considering buying a second Hand card from Japan !?!?!?

No mate , that's a terrible idea!

@chugalug - apols, down vote was by mistake mate , bloody mobile forums again!!

It is new , looking though I don't think they ship international.
If they do then its likely to be $100+ shipping & import tax to oz & most GPU manufacturers do not allow international warranty transfer.

Card is $330 aud anyway + $100-150 aud shipping/tax.

You can buy a 1060 for below $450 aud
locally.(with a warranty)

Haha np at all.
