I dont trust myself nor do i know how to build a PC and i know building one yourself is 1000x better than buying one off of Ironside but just tell me if this is a good pc here. I already have a GTX 1080 so thats why theres no GPU. Ill also probably upgrade to a solid state drive later when i have the money.

I can build that pc, including all the unboxing, in about ½hr. That's easy, a no-brainer. Where time matters is dependent on show-worthiness. My pc took 11hrs to finish and thats with no case mods other than removing the hdd trays and rerouting the hdd/ssd cables to the unused optical bay. The rest was all wiring, rewiring, changing wiring routes, starting over cuz I wasn't satisfied etc.

That's what you'll have to watch for when getting a pc built. You pay good money, but ppl rarely put in the time to do an above board job.

There's absolutely no rush. Only one you make for yourself in your hurry to get the pc going so you can game. Just remember, any pc is bunk for 24 hrs, just with windows install, upgrades, adding other software...

Solid enough, but will depend on the price.

The 700W unit from EVGA isn't great, the memory speed isn't listed, the CPU cooler is very much a budget option & the CPU is "only" a quad-core.

It would have to be pretty cheap to make it "good", relatively speaking. On performance alone, I wouldn't quantify it as such.

+1^ I agree with Wildcard. For the 1080, i think you're just hobbling the GPU with a 4c/4t CPU. Granted, right now at this very moment, it's a decent CPU and will not have an issue driving the 1080 at pretty much max FPS. With that said, 4c is right on the limit and causes problems for games like BF1, COD WW2 etc, where more cores threads make a difference. You will find the CPU maxing out more and more and causing stuttering. It's not nice. Put a min of an I5 8400 or Ryzen 1600/x/2600 or above and have a much better experience, and a little headroom down the line for a capable system.

For an i5--7600K, 212EVO, Z270 board, 16GB RAM, a 2TB HDD, a PSU and a case? No, not "good" at all, for the money.

If you don't have the confidence to built yourself, I'd suggest talking to a local retailer - typically most have an assembly service for a nominal(ish) fee... maybe $50-$100.

A substantially better system and more suited to pair with a 1080 (although the H7 is a little underwhelming, admittedly).

Even if your assembly fee was $200, you'd be in the same general ballpark overall.... for a substantially better rig.

Your missing the point. Stay away from the 7600k. Everyone is pretty much telling you that. It's not a good buy at 1200. Looking at the pre-config systems, and build your own, by going to about 1300/1400 bucks you will get a much better system. One you won't be disappointed with.

The PSU is decent. A good unit.

You may be able to find a local builder for a good price, heck if your near Massachusetts I'll build it for you for free so you can avoid the BS of custom building companies.

Save your money, build it yourself, ask for guidance if you need it, there's hundreds of posts on how-to, thousands of videos. You'll be ok. And when it's all done to your satisfaction, there's a member gallery, I wanna see pics. It's your pc, you do it, claim that personal satisfaction that it's done the way you think it should be. Or you'll pay $100-$200 for someone else's ½hr joke.

This is me at your budget, looks and performance, looks are important too as it sucks to have a great performing pc for the next few years that you think is ugly as sin.
