I live in Malta (Europe). Best bet is that I can get a 10% discount on the price I mentioned.

It is in the average pricing, 369€ in Spain so if you make the currency convert to US $ its almost same price, just for your reference of prancing in Europe of that CPU.

If you already have a Skylake core i5, then unless you're going to do a ton of video streaming and/or editing, it's not a good buy. You'd see little to no performance improvement, especially in everyday usage & in gaming.

I only use my pc for gaming. Running a gtx 1080 overclocked and 32gb ddr4 3200mhz. So shall I stick with my 6600k 4.8ghz ?

Using a 2560x1440p 144/165hz monitor

I would recommend sticking with your existing processor. With gaming, I don't think you'll see much of a noticeable difference with the CPU upgrade.
