Would this be a good PSU for the RTX 2080 XC Gaming?

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487404&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Video+Card+-+Nvidia-_-N82E16814487404&gclid=CjwKCAjw54fdBRBbEiwAW28S9ns4LrmhIOdY8eq89Du01BxYcOPOT_7MLpT-iAx3bZcMy2XA6-qZPRoCtVIQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I currently have a 500W PSU. Model - AL-D500EXP. The PSU i currently have has customized cable outputs though. my PSU has a 6 pin connector, There are only 2 pins extra that arn't being used on my current GPU.
Currently using a MSI GTX 1060 3GB OCV1

PSU - CORSAIR - CX-M Series 650W ATX12V 2.4/EPS12V 2.92 Modular Power Supply - Matte black

Thats normal. Its not going to die. Its just very low quality. Keep using your system you will probably be fine. Just don't push it too hard.

Well, according to this:
http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story4&reid=65
your current PSU is a fire waiting to happen. use it at your own risk.
According to this:
https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/631048-psu-tier-list-updated/
that EVGa unit is a tier 1 PSU, very good!

750w is excessive far more than the 1080 needs

OP is this your PSU?

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817154026

That one is junk definitely do not use it.

650w is fine. The Corsair you selected is a good choice, but IMO for an expensive card like that you want a higher end unit, Seasonic Focus 650 or EVGA 650 G2 are good choices.

Yes, the APEX PSU is my PSU.
And what i meant to say is, Is 750W good for the RTX 2080? from EVGA?

The 750w EVGA you selected is an excellent choice. Its overkill though, the 650w version is cheaper if you want to save some money, and its more than enough.

Currently im running it with a GTX 1060 3GB.
I hope im safe LOL.
I'm just trying to make sure so i don't make any mistakes.

Honestly every day with that thing is not safe. Even with only a GTX 1060. What do you mean by "customized cable output" ?

Anyway a good 650w like the EVGA 650 G2 is plenty for a 2080.

My system is a prebuilt.

"The Trace 940 will normally use a 500W standard (unbranded) PSU

the model name is AL-D500EXP which will match to an Apex/Allied model, but the cable outputs are customized for our systems so its not exactly the same as the one you will see online."

3 Months ago i bought this PC: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuypower-desktop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1060-1tb-hard-drive-120gb-solid-state-drive-gray-black/6180825.p?skuId=6180825

This is the PC that has that power supply in it.
I also guess they changed some wires in their PSU?
Here are the rest of the specs to my PC,
Intel I7 8700,
16GB RAM 2400mhz
ASUS Prime H310 Plus

EDIT: The Power supply has a red switch in the back that has, "115" and "230" Currently its set to "115"

How long could it last though?
I'd say a good 3 months before it dies?
That could explain why when i turn on my pc it takes 2 seconds for the fans to turn on (Unless thats normal?)
And this is the only PSU i have.

It will work fine until suddenly, it doesn't. The problem is to determine exactly when that "suddenly" will occur. When (not if!) it DOES die, it will die spectacularly and probably destroy anything using it for power. As I said before, use at your own risk!
