Is this a good rig for about $800?

I am a new PC builder and am on the brink of completing the rig. If anyone can take the time and review my rig, please do so.

Get GTX 760 Card.

and remove the wifi and 2 fans if you cant pay more now ... get the better graphics card first.

and dont get anything lower than GTX 760 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and get 1 TB Harddisk

I updated it, but I changed the chipset to AMD Radeon; and I'm definitely not going to get a 1tb drive, i'll upgrade later.

yea , it is 50% faster than your card

But Physx is just a gimmick. Adds lots of clutter and nvidia users will often trick themselves into believing its critical for gameplay.

I would try to get atleast the GTX760 or 7870 (the 760 is a bit better but it seems you prefer AMD which is ok)

you cant run PhysX on CPU if you dont have Nvidia Card.

so big NO , NO CPU would be allowed by Nvidia Driver to function as PhysX processing unit.

NVidia didn't bother to optimize CPU physx. But I think they will tweak it better for the upcoming consoles.

Remember that the PS4 uses AMD hardware.

Yes it does. It works fine on my system and I can assure you I have no NVidia hardware.

All I did was install the NVidia Physx drivers.

I will test it and see. but still not functional and slow .. so my advice to get PhysX card still apply.

and for PS4 it wont be FAKE slow PhysX it will be REAL . and the bottom line is , physX games are coming on most games.
