I normally recommend Samsung ssd's. They perform exceptionally well and have a proven track record. Technical reviews of the 850 EVO M.2 SATA 3, 6Gb/s ssd's were favorable.

I maintain an ssd database listed in a sticky at the very top of this forum section. Here is the link:

Scroll down to the M.2 SATA 3 section where you will find the 850 EVO M.2 ssd as well as many other ssd's. didn't understand much of the stuff in the reviews except that its a very good SSD, thanks for the help guys. but in which M.2 slot should i put the SSD in? there are 2 on my motherboard one is 16GB/s and the other is 32GB/s. this is the motherboard i'll be buying: https://www.asus.com/in/Motherboards/PRIME-B250M-PLUS/

you will have to check the specs out for the motherboard because if it has 2 m.2 slots one could be just for a SATA type m.2 drives
