Is this a good system?

I'm looking to build my first rig. I have no specific budget (yet), but I'm building it for gaming. I want to know your thoughts on my current idea for my rig, if you think other parts are cheaper/better, etc. I tried to choose the best price/performance, while starting with a GTX 770.

Here is my idea so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1AX2W (note that I included keyboard, monitor, mouse, thermal compound)

The limited offers are:
G.Skill Ripjaws Z Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2400@$73.99 -$11.09($62.90) w/Newegg+ 15% off w/ promo code EMCXLXT34, ends 9/9

Raidmax 850W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply $99.99-$30.00($73.98)Newegg+ $15 off w/ promo code COMPNTSEP14, ends 9/9
$15.00 mail-in rebate

What do you think? What parts would you use at that price range? Please give me suggestions.

get this
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1AZyt

-you need a better cooler to overclock haswell
-superior motherboard
-fast ram is useless
-no practical difference between most sata 6gbps SSDs. no reason to pay extra for stuff that you cant see
-the blue drive is slightly cheaper
-4gb 770s are stupid in that it isnt even powerful enough to drive the extra ram. the fact that you pay almost a extra hundred dollars for no practical performance gain makes it a stupid buy
-a motherboard has a ethernet port. why do you need a extra when its crappier than the one built in
-way better case for cheaper
-not a crappy psu
-the TK keyboard is more compact for much cheaper
-generally no better mouse for the money than the g400s as of now. razro doesnt come close

Thanks for the replies! I've updated the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tony102/saved/2l9A

LOL, noob mistake @ the ethernet card. Didn't know it was included in the mobo. Is a wireless card included in the mobo aswell? How about the USB 3 ports?

Even if faster RAM was useless, why not get a faster RAM if it's only $2 more?

Which blue drive?

What does the graphics card need to be able to use more memory?

Why is the motherboard superior? What does it include in addition to the msi one?

How do I know if the psu is better in quality? Only by the brand name?

I placed the "mouse" as a placeholder as I'm still not sure. The g500s has a 8200dpi sensor but it's a laser mouse 🙁

Which is newer, the tk or the trigger? I liked the trigger more because the arrow keys are separated from the num keys

The reason I chose the 840 evo ssd is because of http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/storage/2013/07/25/samsung-ssd-840-evo-500-750gb-1tb-revie/7 is rapid mode only for the evo series or for any samsung ssd?

What's the diffrence between http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-power-supply-cmpsu750hx and http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750bbefx ?

I chose the barracuda because everyone's saying that barracuda's faster than caviar blue.

How do I know if a cooler is good?

What do I need in a good case? Can you recommend a good looking case which also has all that I need(for a reasonable price, of course)?

-there is no wireless (and generally shouldnt be using it for desktops in my opinion). you can add a card if you want
-because it runs at a higher voltage than intel specification, which is no warranty for you. if you want to, you could try running the sticks at 1600mhz cl7-8-7-24 1.5v with the higher speed kit. as long as the voltage is not above 1.5v, you are fine
-western digital caviar blue. its in my parts list
-you need a stronger GPU to make use of more ram. the gk104 chip generally is great for powering 2gb of vram. you wont need more to begin with as you arent running high res panels
-you are for sure never going to run your mouse at anything higher than 4000 dpi to begin with (unless you are like me a twitch gamer (in that moving 1cm is a full 90 degree turn))
-the motherboard is superior in that the power delivery is built using much higher quality components and that its cheaper at the same time
-psus are generally the only thing that buying brand names will ensure good quality. raidmax stuff is scrap
-do you realistically use your arrow keys often? i have a quickfire rapid and i have yet to even touch them in day to day usage.
-there is no practical performance gain in real life when you compare high end and mid range SSDs. sure, the benchmarks may say one does 10% better than the other, but in the end, you arent running benchmarks that stress unrealistic usage scenarios
-no practical differences between the 2 psus. they are both high quality units made by reputable manufacturers. pick the cheaper one. wont be disappointed (unless you got a bad egg)
-the caviar blue and barracuda are pretty similar. the barracuda is faster by a tad but you arent going to notice anyways. your call there
-generally, heatsinks have around 3 tiers. the cheapest tier is units similar to the hyper 212 evo from CM and tend to sit around the 20-30 dollar mark. at the 40-60 dollar mark, you get coolers like the tc12dx from phanteks and the nzxt havik series. these coolers tend to cool around 5c better than the first tier and tend to be much quieter. the 3rd tier is the high end 70-80 dollars and they tend to have the highest performance out of all the heatsinks with coolers such as the phanteks tc14pe or the noctua d14. they cool 3-5c better than the second tier and are very quiet.
-the arc midi r2 is your best bet for great build quality and good performance.
