The i7 is honestly pointless for gaming. I get about the same performance as my friend with a 2600K with my 2500K i5. Just go for a 3570K.

Personally, I would build one myself, as its much more fun.

I second the vote to build one yourself - it's pretty easy. Take half an hour to watch several youtube videos, then go through the one you find clearest, pausing to do each step as they do. All told, it'll take about two hours, and you'll get a system that's WAY more powerful for way cheaper.

To answer your original question, no, it's not a very good system. It's unbalanced and highly overpriced.
