Question Is this a good temp?

I started up Train Sim World 2 and while moving, I screenshoted this, is that a normal temp....google search says between 65° to 85° Celsius (so the top line is fine but should i be worried about the hot spot line?)


when a game isn't running the temps are anywhere from 37-50

Hot spot is not the Vram, it's the hottest sensor on the gpu die.
No software currently available reads 20 series Vram thermals save for Precision X, and only on their FTW models, if I recall correctly.

While true, if GPU core temp is 80C or higher, that's a sign that something isn't right, since most GPUs auto-target 73-75C by adjusting fans.

Using which metric? I doubt it's hot spots because they aren't necessarily a bad thing as long as they're not concentrated on a single spot for long. And we don't know which part of the GPU is hot. For instance AMD has said Zen 1 based CCXes have 20 thermal diodes, but the processors only report the hottest one. I'd expect something similar on any complex processor that fine tunes its own clock speed.

ok, so i don't need to worry about the hotspot line for GPU temp? here's a better pic of that reading

A 15C gap between it and gpu core. Good.
Worry about hot spot when it's 100C+. It has a higher temperature range than the gpu core does.
