My current PC:
i7 6700

GTX 970

8 GB DDR3

128 GB SSD

1 TB HDD

500W PSU

1920x1080 144HZ Monitor

I've been wanting some more performance out of my 4ish year old PC lately, wondering if I've done okay on my list.

I have about $800 to upgrade my PC. Here's my pcpartpicker list:

I'll be wiping my HDD and SSD and keeping my PSU and Case presumably.

I've been playing with 144HZ 1920x1080, and would like to fulfill those values in more modern, demanding games
You'll need faster memory, ideally 3200mhz as it makes a big difference in gaming performance.

For your budget I'd probably get this instead. The motherboard has wifi/Bluetooth which is good for a sub $100 board. The memory will run at the rated speed & timings (recently did a build with this motherboard and memory), just be sure to enable XMP and the memory must be in the A2/B2 slots. The 2060S is a decent card but there may be better price to performance cards on redside but if you want features like PhysX or Ray Tracing then just stick with Nvidia.

What PSU do you have exactly?

Depending on the game(s), monitor resolution & refresh rate you play at you may not need to upgrade the CPU. If at a higher resolution like 1440P/4K I would just upgrade the memory, maybe PSU & the GPU.

I still want to know what model PSU you have as you don't want to put in these new parts and have them damaged by a low quality unit.
