Is this a good upgrade?

So, currently I have an fx6300, GTX960 4gb and 16 gb of ram. I'm thinking of getting a Ryzen 5 1500X and 16gb ddr4. Still keeping the graphics card. Do you think there will be any bottlenecking or am I good?

That would be a good upgrade. But why not the Ryzen 5 1600? It's like $5 more right now. Or, the Ryzen 5 2600, which is actually more along with a B450 motherboard. You know you need a new motherboard either way right?

There certainly won't be a bottleneck on the CPU, though it will be more powerful than your GTX 960. It is good if the CPU is the more powerful of the two or you'd run into some annoying issues. Though, an upgrade to an RX480 or RX580 would be good, too.
