Is this a haswell certified PSU?

I am new to PC building and I remember watching a linustechtips video where he said that there are haswell certified CPU. Now here is where i am stuck, is the EVGA 500w power supply haswell certified or do i need to consider getting a new PSU? The specs for the PC i want is i3 4130 and sapphire r9 270x

Hi - The statement above that Haswell Certified" is just branding is incorrect. The EVGA 500 is not
Haswell Certified. You do no need to change PSU's if you choose not to.

Haswell CPU's have a very low power state when in sleep mode, basically what you need to do is
disable the c6/c7 sleep state in BIOS. Otherwise, you might have to reboot when the PC comes out
of sleep mode (without a Haswell ready PSU).
"Haswell certified" is just branding, a power supply will work as long as you have enough Watts and the right cables.
In your case, you have enough watts to run these parts, and you have the right PCIe cables to power that graphics card. You don't need to upgrade.
