Is this a normal temp for idle(h100i v2)?

I recently bought an h100i v2 cpu cooler. I installed it into the front of my case with the fans pulling the air through my radiator. At idle my pump fan sits at 1800 +/- 4% RPM and my other two fans for the radiator are sitting at around 1800 +/- 4% RPM also. The temps at idle are from 40-50 ° C. At 100% load my temps are from 70-85 ° C. I'm just wondering if this is normal because I bumped into the cpu cooler that had pre-applied thermal paste on it and it seemed like a little rubbed off. Also would buying arctic thermal paste and applying it lower my temperatures?
Update[I have put on artic silver 5 thermal paste and it has reduced my temps around 3 ° C]

looks pretty normal to me. maybe just keep you computer idle for a 30mins or so. allow your fans/cooler to lower temps on your system. keep in mind coolers arent mini airconditioners that instantly puts "ice" on your cpu. it still uses air to lower down temp on the radiator. also if your environment also plays a factor.
which motherboard are you using? if its one of those overclock boards, try disabling "multicore enchancement (MCE)" or "turbo enhancement" in your BIOS. and recheck how your idle temps are. this will lower down the voltage output to your CPU.

what were your temps on your old cooler? with a aio of that level, normal temps are usually at 23C~35C even on overclock.

you can also try re-applying thermal paste by using an aftermarket one like anything like artic silver. be sure you clean your cpu and pump mount with alohol and a lint free cloth (you can use coffee filters).

I'm using a MSI z270-a pro. I'll try disabled the multi core enhancement or turbo enhancement, but since I have an i7 7700k will that disable my hyper threading?

no it wont. this setting is an auto overclock feature. it does not change your CPU specs. it will however lower down the speed of your CPU down to its stock speed since the MOBOs auto OC feature is turned off. less voltage, less muticore sync enhancement, less frequency which leads to closer to the stock/original processing speed. you can still OC manually without this option.

With the setting turned off my cpu is at around 37 +/- 2 ° C and my graphics card is the exact same temperature?
Will I still be able to overclock my cpu with this setting turned off?

yes you can. i believe your bios has the manual tweak section for enthusiasts/experienced builders. when you disabled MCE/enhanced turbo. depending on your BIOS. it will open up more options compared to when it was turned on.

And also would going from mx-4 thermal compound to mx-2 or any other third party thermal compound affect the temperatures? And is there any that you would recommend?

im not an expert in thermal compounds and i never really bothered with it. i always relied on the arctic silver 5 tho. :) im sure other more hardcore builders will recommend something strongly for you. you could open up a thread about aftermarket thermal compounds.

BUT what i do know is the MX-4 isnt for OC.

Still under full load in Realbench I'm getting crazy temperatures at 68-77 ° C. I feel like it should be a lot cooler

how are teh RPMs on your cpu fans? did you attach your AIO pump to the CPU_header? try using HWmonitor (in case ur not using it) to see all your temps voltages and fan rpms. its a quick install.

and whats your room temperature btw 😛

Those are the RPMS of the fans, I attached the pump to tthe CPU_header.
