The motherboard is not compatible with the CPU.

Whether or not it will bottleneck depends on the game. Overall, it should work well if you get the correct motherboard. Also, you included the PSU twice.

Why HDMI? You're getting a GPU, and the GPU will take care of the display output.

Decent build IF IT WERE NOT INCOMPATIBLE

Your CPU and MOBO are incompatible, the CPU is LGA 1151 socket and the MOBO is AM4

Also, I don't like that PSU I'd get a seasonic S12II or EVGA BQ instead

they are not the cheapest but most reliable, other sites have really bad reviews and sometimes send broken parts and dont reply, ive actually had experience with the stores i listed, and a 1060 6gb might not fit into the budget, if you can thatd be great, thank you so much for the help

You can wait for ryzen 3 CPUs and get it for cheaper, or upgrade the PSU to the XFX TS 550W

You can select the parts from the store you desire, Like I said i'd replace the PSU for the XFX TS 550W if possible, if not the antec VP is a good psu either way.

And I went with the RX 480 8G to reduce costs, or you could wait for ryzen 3 and keep the 1060, but the 480 is pretty close

ok so maybe just maybe that could be a perfect build but 930 was max, in about a year my friend will be giving me a i5 6600k for 80$ so maybe just for now i could get the cpu i was talking about the pentium g4560, for 75 so i can skimp out atm would that cpu work with all these parts, and eventually a i5 6600k? again thanks for the help

Since you're building this I wouldn't go in planning to upgrade to the enthusiast-high end range of PCs. I would recommend this build:

The CPU is a Ryzen 6 core 12 thread CPU that's unlocked, and the GPU is comparable to a GTX 1060, but with support for FreeSync (which I would definitely consider getting in your monitor, monitors from $100 - $800 can come with it).

If you really want a build with a 1080ti and a 7700k (even though the 7700k is $100 more than the i5-7600k while barely having better performance), I'll make you one and get back to you.

this is just for a friend but its different to what i want, but what he wants the cheapest build possible for a gtx 1080 3gb with no bottle knecking and if its allot cheaper a little bit of bottleknecking, like he wants the minimum power suply cheapest motherboard cheapest case thatll work with it and he wants hdmu

firstly, the OS comes in CD form, but the current case does not have a slot for a cd drive. Your options are: 1. get a different case that has a slot, 2. get a USB cd drive and keep the case, 3. Instead of getting the official CD version you could get it from this website: https://www.hrkgame.com/games/product/windows-10-professional-oem-pc-cd-key/ for cheaper and just install it with a USB you can make youself.

About the build, your friend said he wanted a 1060 3gb (I assume that's what you meant, there is no 1080 3gb), but I selected the rx 470 as it has better performance for around the same price. The CPU is a new Ryzen CPU with 4 cores 8 threads, and is overclockable. Everything else I think is self explanatory. Also to clarify on the case, you can pick whatever case you want, but I thought the one I picked looked the coolest for the price and it has enough fans without buying extra (the only downside is the CD slot but you might not even need it if you just get windows from that website).

What resolution and Hz do you intend to game at with the 7700k & 1080Ti? The 7700k is only really needed if going 1080p/1440p 144Hz plus. For 4k 60Hz the CPU load is much lower and a Ryzen build probably makes mores sense.
