[SOLVED] Is this a reliable ssd?

is the
Silicon Power A60 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive reliable? The reason I ask this is because its one of the cheapest nvme ssds i can find. Thanks

Can't speak to that specific drive, but I've used SP SSDs in the past - couple still in use 3+ years later.
As a 'brand', they're fine. Never the fastest, nothing spectacular about the products, but they do well enough, and reliability seems to be ok.

Crucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive instead of that?

For what it's worth, the TeamGroup MP33 looks to be the cheapest NVME ~250GB from any sort of 'known' brand, in the US at least.

Looks like the 256GB A60 is ~$38?
And the 500GB P1 is ~$60

In the ~250GB range, I'd opt for either the MP33 or A60.

In the ~500GB range, you have the WD SN550 ($60), Intel 660p ($63) and ADATA XPG SX6000 Pro ($65) that I would opt for ahead of the P1.

All that being said, these SSDs are all pretty competitive with one another, build/spec'd down to a pricepoint. They're all going to perform similarly, and be about as reliable as each other.

Off the top of my head, I believe the XPG has the better warranty (on paper at least), if that matters to you at all
