Is this a safe temperature for a m.2 970 evo?

I have a 970 evo inside a dan A4 SFX case, but it is currently sitting at 67 degrees Celsius. Is this an okay temperature? P.S was I suppose to remove that plastic cover on the pad that is stuck to the metal cover for the m.2 ssd?

What plastic cover? Did you mean packaging?

Don't worry, it was a small plastic sheet over the thermal pad, not apart of the packaging. It was on the heatsink for the m.2 slot. My motherboard is a Asus ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING mini ITX.

Any plastic cover covering heatsink must be removed obviously.
