Question Is this a simple WD-40 fix?

I can hear a rattling noise (sounds like a 1.9tdi) coming from middle and top fan. When i stop the middle and top fan with my finger the noise goes away, so it must be the cooler bearing, right?
Im just wondering if a little bit WD-40 on the bearing would solve it, or some silicone spray, or is there smth else that i should do.
Recently i did a front panel mod on my case (for anyone interested), and the noise is really annoying, since the coolers are pretty much fully exposed, but it was always there since i bought it back in 2019, it was just not nearly as loud as it is now, because the front panel blocked away the noise.

Solution
WD-40 is for water displacement. In other words it will likely push out any grease that is remaining in there. You might be better off with white lithium grease or a little bit of sewing machine oil.

The better option is replace the fan. You might check on eBay, sometimes you can get sets of case fans from overseas for cheap.
No.
This is a fan replacement.

A squirt of WD-40 may make the noise go away for a little while.
It is not a "fix".
I didnt express myself well, i know it wont be a permanent fix, im planning on buying a new case in autumn (with new fans included), so my question would be is it safe to use wd 40 (or something else) on fan bearings as a current "fix", until i buy a new case/fans, which would be approximately 2-3 months?

A squirt of WD-40 may make it worse in a week or two.
Or mask it for several months.

New noise from a fan is a result of worn bearing surface.

I understand what you are saying, but i cant really afford a new set of fans currently, and i cant be bothered to listen to the rattling sound anymore, so i think i will roll the dice and spray a bit of wd-40 on the bearings, btw some google searches are suggesting that i use silicone spray, and not wd-40, i have little knowledge of which is which and which one should i use?
