Is this a suitable sound card?

Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium 7.1 PCI-E

that's the only 7.1 sound card that i could find near here for sale. it is around $100. is it worth it? or should i just search in amazon? and also what headset would you recommend? i have around $100-$150 budget for the headset. and i also wear glasses. i just want good quality and a comfortable one. Thanks for the one's who reply!

Yep it's OK. But if you've got a new motherboard there's a good chance that the sound from it is every bit as good as the sound card.

i have an asus m5a97 le r2.0 mobo. do you suggest i just wait until i upgrade my mobo rather than buy the sound card?
