Is this a USB dongle in my PC case?

I bought a PC from Ibuypower some years back. I noticed some of the USB ports didn't work, which wasn't a big deal as my needs were limited.

Fastforward to me changing the mobo. I found this inside, connected to the motherboard.

Anyone ever seen this? I can't even be sure it works since I can't find any literature on it.

So I am assuming that it will connect to the motherboard usb-2 pin header and allow you to expose extra USB ports.

Hard to tell from your photo, but I suspect that it mounts somewhere on your case.

You can always buy a USB hub if you need extra ports.

Need more pictures to tell what it is, it has two USB 2.0 pin blocks one to the motherboard and one to the device which might just be case mounted USB

Well it’s just a pin connector and that block that looks like an antenna. There aren’t any ports on that thing. It’s just a solid brick with an adhesive backing for mountain bike in the case.

I might have to leave it out.

I never used bluetooth on it before, and I didn't go wireless since I was sitting next to the switch.
