Is this amperage enuf? URGENT

How much amperage do i need for an msi gtx 960. Remember MSI coz i read the bak of the box and it said 42 for som mad reason even tho a standard gtx 960 uses i think around 20.

So exactly how much amps does this specific card need on a 12v rail

42 would be 504W, There is no way in hell it takes that much. 20 is a much more feasible number.

According to Tomshardware a reference GTX 960 uses at most 120 watts. 120 watts / 12 volts = 10 amps. An after market GTX 960 should not use much more than that. However, if you want to overclock, you may need more amps.
