Hi everyone a month ago I asked the same question, I made some adjustments and had to increase my budget a bit for the thinks I wanted, and now I came up with this list.
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo
MoBo: Asus Republic Of Gamers Maximus VI Hero
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master V8 GTS
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY8GX3M2B2133C9R 2X4GB
GPU: Palit Geforce GTX 780 Super Jetstream
PSU: Corsair RM750
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB Desktop Kit
HDD: WD Black SATA 6 Gb/s WD3001FAEX 3TB
Optical Drive: Asus BW-16D1HT
OS: Windows 8.1 (OEM) 64-bit
This build is just for hardcore gaming, I want to play the latest games on ultra and offcourse be safe for the coming time.
As you may have noticed red is my favorite color so that's why I chose the CPU cooler and the memory and the blue led's in the case I'm planning to change.
This build would cost me about 1730 euro so that's around 2400 dollar and 1450 pounds. (I'm from the Netherlands)
Now let's get to the real questions:
So first I'm still not sure which monitor to choose maybe it's best to wait for the G-sync monitors what do you think? If not what's a good monitor?
Secondly is overclocking really going to make a difference in my performances.
And offcourse why I'm here is this a good build?
Regards,
Jeff
