I have the MSI GTX 970 100ME edition. I set the core voltage all the way up but the temps never reached 80 so I figured it was ok. If I add 10 more to core clock I will start to see tiny artifacts every now and then, so I subtracted 10 to make it stable. Idk what to do about what to about memory clock. It doesn't seem to affect fps that much. If i set it to 800 I will start to see artifacts. For lifespan I would want it to last about 5 years at least.
