Is this bad for a HDD? (Defragmenting)

Hello all,

After nearly 4 years, I decided it'd be a good time to defrag my 2TB hard drive. Using defraggler (by Piriform), I run it and the current states is as listed:
-129, 857 Fragmented Files (609.7GB)
-2,288,273 Total Fragments

Is this a good or a bad sign drive wise? Would I be better off replacing the drive or defragging it?

Solution
You don't need a new drive, you just shouldn't have left it that long before defragging it, as heavy fragmentation of the data on it can slow down your system & make it less responsive over time, plus defragging will take much longer compared to doing it more often when fragmentation is not heavy.

Defraggler, when you run "Analyse", should show the percentage of fragmentation. I defragment mine when it's above 6%, below that I don't bother as defragmenting too often when it's not necessary just causes drive wear for no good reason.

But leaving it for four years with no defrag is too long! That's why checking the percentage of fragmentation every couple of months is a good idea. If it's below 6%, leave it a little longer.
