[SOLVED] Is this bad? Samsung M2 SSD 970 and 960 both at +60c

Hello

Both my Samsung M2 SSD 970 and 960 are almost constantly above 60c +

I have bought heatsinks and tried everything, still, they keep to that.

Is that bad or good?

Its not bad for them, they can run warm but its not ideal for them to always be over 60. My 970 was about 59 today while I played a game. but it idles on 47c

Maybe look into cooling in your case, more intake or exhaust fans to get rid of the heat.

what case do you have?
how many intake fans?
how many exhausts?

sounds like its not getting a lot of air flow.

At least your 2nd M.2 isn't mounted under the gpu like mine would be - I assume its still this motherboard - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/MPG-Z490-GAMING-CARBON-WIFI#down-bios
