Is this bottlenecking?

Playing BF5 i noticed my CPU usage its 100% usage, while my GPU hovers around the 65% or less usage. While i get 40-60 FPS on ultra 1080p, i feel like my rig could do better. Am i bottleknecking?

Thank you!

most i5's , especially the older (4c/4t) ones, will indeed show 100% cpu usage on BF1 an d BF5....

You'd have to see what others' i5 4560's are delivering in the game to get a comparison, but, certainly the i5 is likely not close to fully tasking/saturating a GTX1080 at 1080P, even at ultra details.

Respectable
The Dice engine is CPU hungry and even somewhat bottlenecks my 7600k and 1080 100-60. I recommend upgrading because the cpu is going to bottleneck and you won’t get the full potential of the 1080. I recommend the 2600 or 2700 or wait for gen 3 Ryzen in March

Yeah it's tough for 4c cpus nowadays.

What you could try in the meantime while thinking about an upgrade is close as much background running apps as possible. Or if you need discord or other apps running move them to the last core in task manager > affinity to free up the primary core.

Also try limit your fps between 45~60fps to avoid the bottleneck doing that itself. Might help the cpu a bit more. Msi Afterburner and Nvidia Inspector can limit fps.
