is this brand of RAM good for gaming?

Hi guys,

I will do my final build pc with KLEVV BOLT 3000mhz 8gb x 2 DDR4. Is this [strike]memory stick[/strike] RAM good enough? This brand is kinda new to me. I afraid if this create problem like bsod or bottleneck.


My spec will be:

Proc: Ryzen 5 2600x

GPU: Gtx 1060 6gb windforce gigabyte

Yes, I've seen that memory module around before. Fortunately unlike a Motherboard or GPU, a memory ram module is more reliable regardless of brand/heatsink design and it's least likely to cause problems unless you physical damage the dimms.

With high frequency RAM I would stick to the QVL list for the motherboard to avoid any chance, even if small of issues. Not sure if this is or is not on your motherboards list.

Yes, I've seen that memory module around before. Fortunately unlike a Motherboard or GPU, a memory ram module is more reliable regardless of brand/heatsink design and it's least likely to cause problems unless you physical damage the dimms.

So overall i can stick with this brand without having any problem because i read somewhere and they said this brand will cause a bsod.I need to confirm this because in my country,this memory is expensive.

the reason why the highest is 2666 is because of manufactor warranty. going beyond this limit means you are overclocking your ram and expires your warranty. why? because it has to do with stability. if we wouldn't limit the ram speed, things would get very instable and could risk other parts of you pc even

it is mostly for ryzen cpu's and amd motherboard, so you are good to go

if they would do that, there would be a massive warranty war between the manufactor and the customers.

the default support is up to 2666mhz and beyond that is the owners risk. no exeption.

ez understanding is above 3000 memory will be for overclock and no waranty for it??

it puts the ram speed to 2400. you can go beyond this limit via xmp, which is supported on the mobo and ram card 😀

It means the 3000mhz have either not been tested or didn’t pass testing. Therefore 3000mhz is not guaranteed to work without problems and you cannot complain if they don’t work at 3000mhz. It probably will work ok but it’s not guaranteed.m
