They are very much compatible, but i would suggest a slightly better cooler in case you intend to overclock massively, and a better psu unit like seasonic, evga or corsair.

Thanks for the help!

point to where I stated, it can be done through standard cooler...you need to read before posting...and since when did it start coming with standard cooler???
also please define a standard cooler

WOW! just WOW! i asked politely for something so that i could read about it. i was talking in terms of an air cooler that is readily available to buy and not something in terms of liquid nitrogen. genuinely interested and i don't believe what i said warranted your response .

using a standard air cooler ? point me in the direction of the proof, please

This is how you ask??? Well...how about a simple "can it be done with an air cooler"???

Anyways, my bad. Perhaps I didnt interpret it correctly. Apologies for my mistake. There are too many trolls around refuting anything and everything.

Coming to the OCing part, a Wraith Spire can take it to maybe 4ghz. To go over you will need something like a Noctua 15 or Cryorig R1, maybe Mugen but not sure about that. To get extreme clocks, you might need a Kraken or a Swiftech Liquid.

An interesting article i came across recently... https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/amd-ryzen-5-1600x-overclock-59/ not sure about its authenticity though.
