Hi guys!

I'm planning to build a pc and I would love your guys opinion on it.
I want it to play all 2014 games on ultra or the highest settings, I don't
want to upgrade it very soon!

Setup:
i5-4670k
MSI Z87-GD65
8gb ram
GTX 780Ti
Seagate Barracuda 2tb
600W
Hyper 212 evo cooler
Corsair Vengeance C70 case

A few questions:
Will my CPU or GPU get too hot?
Is 600W too little?
Is the GTX 780Ti an overkill? Can I go with an R9 r290? (it's 200$ cheaper)
I love multitasking, should I go gor 16gb RAM?

Thanks a lot for replying!
I hope you guys can answer all my questions :)

Solution
its a good build. your cpu and gpu wont get to hot. they both come with cooling.
600 watts is fine for this build, but dont go any lower then 600.
780ti is an amazing card. it beats the titan. as far as overkill...well depends on what your looking to spend but you definitley dont need that powerful of a card to play games.
8gbs of ram is more then enough for gamimg and multitasking at the same time. and you probably dont need any more then 8. you can always add more later.

hope this helped :)

So 650W, but if I have like 10 applications running,
none of whom are rendering or editing, is 16gb still too much?
RAM is pretty cheap so if it makes a difference I would consider it.

And do I have a heating problem?

No, just having programs open will not use anywhere close to 8gb RAM while gaming at the same time.

either card should be fine. both really fast cards, as for your power supply 600 watts is the lowest to get with these graphics cards but if you feel safer getting higher wattage then go ahead. get as many as you want. just make sure its 80+ certified and a trust worthy company

Reference cooler? is that the fan in my build list?
Noise isnt such a big deal, but i want to do it right in one shot :)
I can pick the 750W corsair 80+ certified or the bequiet 600W 80+.
What would you pick?

DO NOT get a Cx unit for this build. I had a cx600 blow up my first computer. Get a quality unit. The Cx units are made with cheap capacitors that like to fail.

No, the reference cooler refers to the style of cooling which is installed on the GPU.

http://videocardz.com/images/2013/10/HIS-Radeon-R9-290-2.jpg reference card. LOUD, runs slightly hotter.

http://videocardz.com/images/2014/01/Gigabyte-R9-290X-WF3X.jpg non-reference card. quieter and run slightly cooler.

Alrigth, i think im going with this GPU over the 780Ti,
SAPPHIRE TRI-X R9 290 4GB OC BF4 Edition (11227-00-50G).
It has no reference coolers. Or is the 780Ti still worth it?

And I'm also going with the 750W Corsair.

i know tiny voices had an issue with the cx power supplies. but im using one for a while now and have no problems. alot of people use them and they have high ratings all over...he might of just gotten a faulty power supply.

There was a user here about a week ago who had a cx750 blow a capacitor and ruin their system. The are made with inferior capacitors that easily fail. They are good units for non-high draw situations, but for thins pricey of a gaming machine, I would seriously invest in a better PSU. There is even a thread in the Corsair forums dedicated to failing Cx units. The XFX 650 is MUCH better quality and costs the same. I would pick it 100 times over the CX750.
