Question Is this build balanced?

Hi all!

Looking at building a new rig and was wondering if I could get some feedback on the specs so far. Is it balanced or sound things be tweaked?

Ryzen 9 7900X
RTX 4070
16GB DDR5 6400 MT/S
1TB Samsung 980 NVME
ASUS Strix X670
Corsair RM1000x
Corsair H100i AIO

Any advise is appreciated as I’ve been out of the building scene for quite some time!

Looks good except I have 3 changes you should make. 1. don't buy the 4070, the 40 series from Nvidia is overpriced and the RX 7800xt outperforms the 4070 for cheaper. 2. I would go for 32GB (2x16) of RAM because 16GB is the bare minimum these days. 3. I would go for a 2TB SSD as prices have fallen so much it doesn't make sense not to, for example I got my 980 pro 2TB for $129 when just a few short years ago they were going for as much as $400 each.

1st, PC is never about "balance", it is about what are you going to do with it.
2ed, DDR5 6400 is not enough, DDR5 6000 cl36 vs ddr5 4800 cl 30 is almost the same. If you go amd, I'd rather go something DDR5 6000 CL30, since for AM5，UCLK == MEMCLK point is DDR6000
3.Corsair H100i AIO is a 240mm aio, not enough, you need at least 280mm,like Be Quite Pure loop 280mm since it is 7900X, 12 cores mate! Besides, I am very sure that you can not refill the H100i, while for Be Quite one, you can. Almost all the AIO has the same issue, after using it for 2 to 3 years, depends how much you use the computer, the cooling liquid evaporates. Till that time, if you can not refill it, then the cooler can not work as good as brand new.
