I know a lot of those parts are old but i don't care i am getting them at good price for where i live.

Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-03 Mid-Tower

Asrock FATAL1TY P67 PRO

i5 2500k

Corsair Hydro Series H100i in Push-Pull

R9 270X 4 GB

G Skill 2x 4GB DDR3 2400MHz Gaming Memory

HST_James6666 - P67 doesn't fare the best with 3xxx, and can't run 4xxx at all.

verbalartistic - one of the best water coolers - no, not even that. Swiftech h220x, h240x are the best. And no, in general no AiO You can get nowadays will do better job that one of the "allstars", like NH-D14, NH-D15, SilverArrow, Phanteks PH-TC14PE, beQuiet! DarkRock 3 Pro, and some more.

It's a faux pas, but it's kind of a fact.

And yes I will agree with you on the swiftech cooler I just suggest the h100i because everyone knows it

Thanks James i just seen other similar benchmarks on overclock.net

So this pc case is not to small for H100i in Push-Pull?

So with my current CPU be grand so?

Chris sorry if I misread but start a new thread with that question.
Uplink_svk what do you not understand about what I said about 3rd and 4th gen. Also it is z67 2nd gen. Z77 3rd gen. Z87 4th gen. Z97 5th gen and 4th gen (launched for devil's canyon)

Well done svk that is the third time you have said 4th gen will not work with z67 we all knew that from the start.
I believe the build should be fine (dependant on the cooler fitting) also I did take back the speech about getting haswell insted as I did not see what you said at the start.

For what i am doing at the moment. Playing games and a little bit of YouTube videos i don't see the point in spending Hugh money ATM
See i live in Ireland so i don't have the luxury of getting stuff for the right price!
I just want to get a bit more juice out of the i5 2500K before i move to a completely different system build! [Maybe Skylake]

Plus some of them parts are paying for themSelves because i am replacing my

CM Storm Scout II Advanced for the Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-03

Thermaltake Frio Advanced Cooler for the Corsair H100i

MSI Z77A-G43 GAMING for the Asrock FATAL1TY P67 PRO

I have them three parts sold roughly for the same price as the parts replacing them.

MSI Z77A-G43 Gaming is putting the voltages through roof for 4.3/4.5 overclock because you can only mess with 1 setting {offset}

Thermaltake Frio Advanced is Crap for the price i paid

CM Storm Scout II Advanced is a great case but i can't fit the Corsair H100i unless i hod rod it out of the top LOL

Lol i never said anything about 4th gen :} I'm just looking for answers :) Phones fault

Anyways i think i have to change the Case because just seen a OC3D TV video on that case and the H100i will fit only if the ram and motherboards heat sinks don't get in the way! Fuck the heat sinks on the g-skill ram i have are Hugh.

Any ideas on a case similar to Corsair Carbide in price?
