Yes it will all be compatible, but it's not making the best use of your money. For example the 750W PSU is overkill for the system and since you're using a H81 motherboard which isn't meant for overclocking, spending more money for an unlocked CPU would be a waste of money. You could get away with a cheaper locked i5 such as an i5 4460. If your budget is enough to include the parts you listed you should definitely consider budgeting in a 1080p monitor. The graphics will be much better compared to playing at a 1280x1024.

If you gave me a budget and currency I can post a part list.

Also, putting a Haswell Refresh CPU like a 4690 or 4460 on an H81 motherboard, you might not have the correct BIOS to boot that CPU. Which means you'd need an older version of the CPU to update the BIOS. As you can see this can lead to a lot of headaches.

If you're REALLY trying for a budget go H81 + 4440 to avoid the BIOS issues.

well i'm not looking for an improvement on my monitor, and it is true that im not looking into overclocking i just want to get the best performance with i5 because i dont really want to buy an i7 because this build is going to be gaming strictly,as for the PSU i think 750W is better because i might upgrade my system in the future and i want to be safe for a couple more years

i'm not changing the CPU but i might change the motherboard tho, what do you suggest?

H97 at a minimum to avoid BIOS issues. But you're also talking like you want possible SLI/Crossfire in the future. If you tried to do crossfire 280X on H97 you would end up with one GPU being limited by the 4 PCI-E lanes in the second slot.

But really getting an unlocked i5 with anything less than a GTX 970 is pointless for gaming, that money is better spent on a better GPU. But then again, spending this much money at all to game at 1280x1024 is kind of pointless as well. You might as well just get an i3 and 750Ti and save your money.

But it's your build, do what makes you happy.

im not looking into SLI/CrossFire,i just want to be able to play all the latest games at ultra @ 60 fps at this resolution, will the ASRock Z97 Anniversary motherboard work with this CPU?

You aren't doing dual GPUs in the future, but you want a 750w PSU for future upgrades? Okay.

For a stocks clock Haswell Refresh processor and a single-GPU config I would get an H97 board like the Asrock H97 Anniversary, MSI PC Mate, or a similar board around $60 or $70. Z97 gives no benefit if you don't want to overclock and you only want to use 1 GPU.
