Is this build decent enough?

So before I begin, I already have a hard drive with Windows 7 on it, so I didn't include that since I already have it and will be using it.
What will I be doing with this computer? I will be doing basic things like homework, and playing simple games like gmod. And I will also be recording videos as well as basic video editing. Nothing to big. Just a little editing. Everything that I just mentioned, would this build be decent to do all of the things? I'm currently saving up to build a better computer. I just need a computer to last me until that happens.
(Not recording game play! Just recording myself talk)

Am I missing anything?

Solution
a drive with win 7 on it is not likely going to work unless you are moving it from a system with nearly the same setup.

Drop the dedicated gpu and get a better performing apu for that system.

Drop the aftermarket cooler as it holds no value for this type of system.

Get faster ram, the apu and AMD systems in general do benefit from faster ram speeds.

Get this apu

and this ram.

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455

This will give you much better performance all the way around and cost nothing more than what you have.

So everything on the hard drive will be removed? That's not a problem for me. Another question, on "PCPartPicker" under the compatibility notes it says "Unable to verify the Thermaltake VL80001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler are compatible."

Will those work together?

This is a huge improvement, but your hard drive with windows is not going to boot up in just any PC you plug it into.

CPU - upgraded to a quad core apu - you will not be gaming much on a dual core amd plus its a waste of money to buy an APU and a dedicated GPU
GPU - with a bit of tinkering and the 2133ram the Radeon 5660D will be very close to the gt730
CPU COOLER - that motherboard needs a top down cooler design so it doesn't overheat - the EVO you chose is not recommended!
Better PSU - allows future upgrades to a dedicated graphics card like a GTX 970 or R9 290

I would have to say about $350 for now

Thank you for this list

Well I'm surprised this actually turned out better than expected.

Thank you, I did forget to mention again.. (I already have a windows 7 disk, will that work?)

And the capability issues from pcpartpicker is

-Asus A88XM-A Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Thermaltake VL80001W2Z ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.

-Some AMD A88X chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Kaveri CPUs.

Are those something to worry about?

The cpu will work with the motherboard for sure. That is a cheap case so it does not have a front USB 3.0 port while the motherboard has that capability. This is not a big deal. You could probably find a different cheap case that does have it if you want.

Alright thank you, and I noticed on your list that is no graphics card, is that alright? Sorry I'm really new at this stuff..

This is about the best I can do with a video card.

I'm trying to edit the list but I keep getting the "Unknown error has occurred" message, tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome none of them work. But I'm just trying to change the case, and remove the OS, unless my Win 7 disk won't work with it
