Is this build enough for gaming ?

First of all I will mostly do gaming with this rig and I will also do some programming later on.

I was thinking of getting an
FX 8350
Asrock Extreme3 970 mobo
Poworcolor PCS+
Hyper 212 Evo because of OCing
8 gigs of 1600 Kingston HyperX Blu ram
Corsair TX750 psu
My questions are
1.) Is this build any good or do you recommend another budget for around 650€ ?
2.) Will the CPU last long in my system ?

you'd want to get a motherboard based on the new chipset... 990x, instead of the older 970.
something like the Asus M5a99x.

It's a good system, but what Video Card are you getting?

Do you need windows, keyboard, mouse, storage and video card?

Are you using integrated graphics I don't see a VGA card? That would not be that good for gaming. You could save some money and go with a FX-6300 CPU, and then add a EVGA 01G-P4-2753-KR GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked 1GB GPU.

Overclocking the CPU will reduce its life how much depends on how much you OC it and how good your cooling solution is.

In that case im recommending something like this. It should be around 600-650 euros, depends what are the prices in Austria.

prices are pretty good in austria. this system that i wrote with an r9 290 costs about 653 €

oh well, i thought you have the gpu already. it is going to be really hard to build a good PC for the budget you have got. The GPU is great but the rest will be very average. I would recommend to save 200 euros more.

I think I wi just stick with my current system because the i5 osn't that good for programming and a fx 8350 is more than enough for gaming, but thank you all for your suppeor
