Ok so im not exactly new to gaming builds, i have done it before but i am not as up on the new hardware as i should be, that being said...
Setup:
CPU -Intel i5-3570k Ivy Bridge

HDD - i have a WD Blue 500gb hdd, i will be getting a SSD eventually but not right now
OS -have a free copy of windows 8 from my college.
Optic - Samsung 24x dvd
Now this pc will mostly be for games such as SC2, WoW, Skyrim (open world time games), Guild Wars 2, more of rpg and rts games as opposed to 1st person shooters.
The GTX 480 was given to me by a friend and i know is a power hungry gpu, and probably not the best bet, but its free and allowed me the money to get the more expensive i5 that i wanted.
psu has a single 12v rail so i should have enough power to push the system, my only concern was on the case, not sure if i should have done a haf 922/932 instead.
Also do i necessarily need more fans right off the bat? or should i use the i5 stock fan and see what kind of temps im at and then go for more? or just order a 212 evo fan now and get it over with?
what does everyone think?
also i do plan to OC the cpu up to around 4.3/4.4, im told everything past that gets into the water cooled area and i dont want to do that just yet.
