Is this build good/compatible? (First build)

Hello guys, This is my first time trying to build my own pc and I want some help
I've been thinking about buying the following:
-Case Tower: Raidmax Ninja II Black/Orange
-Motherboard: MSI Z270 Gaming Plus LGA1151 ATX Motherboard
-CPU: Intel Core I7-7700 Kaby Lake Quad-Core up to 4.2GHz
-GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 TI 4GT OC 4GB DDR5
-RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000 Mhz
-HDD: Western Digital Caviar 1TB 7200RPM (WD10EZEX)
-PCU: Xigmatek Tauro 700W 80+ Bronze Full-Modular
-Optical Drive: Asus Internal DVD Writer DRW-24D3ST SATA

So...What do you think about this build? Is it good/compatible?
Should I change something?

Mostly looks good. You should pick up an SSD drive for improved all-around performance though.
If you plan on gaming get a better video card as well.

Not sure how good the cooling will be with that case. What will you use the computer for?

y a z270 mobo for a non k cpu? if u want to overclock, get the 7700k or go for b250 n save some cash. never heard of that psu. look for a seasonic s12II 620w psu or xfx ts or antec HCG 520w.
the cpu is superior to the gpu. y not a rx480/rx580?
do u really need an optical drive?

I don't want an AMD video card because I use Adobe After Effects
changed from z270 to b250 as you recommended
seasonic and antec are currently out of stock in the store and are more expensive mine is about 60JOD which is 84$
and yes I need the optical drive

Will get a SSD once I get more money, my budget is limited so I can't buy anything else

I plan to use it for gaming and video editing
I'm not a hardcore gamer so I think I would be fine
The cooling will be fine(searched about it)

I would recommend at least a Silver+ PSU for this build. Or you could get a 550w or 650w Gold+ for the same price. A 650w Gold will perform better than a 700w Bronze, quite a bit better. If you can't find some of the brands listed so far, maybe EVGA? If you can get a hold of one.

Ok, I changed from the Xigmatek tauro to EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GQ 650W 80+ Gold w/ Active PFC

I've got a question: what's the difference between a full-modular and a semi-modular?

tbh its nearly impossible (100JOD difference between 1050 ti and gtx 1060 6GB)
any other suggestion?

adobe after effects take advantage of opencl too. the rx470 is also better than 1050ti.
but if gaming is not ur preference, the 1050ti would do.

I've changed alot of things in the build:

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B250M-A INTEL B250 DDR4 MICROATX (can handle 4x2133ghz) (up to 64gb)
Cpu: Intel COre I5-7500 Kaby Lake Quad-Core up to 3.8GHz
Ram: Downgraded to 8GB of hyperX fury 2133GHz
Storage: upgraded to Seagate SSHD 1TB + 8GB SSD
GPU: Upgraded to Asus GTX 1060 6GB dual
PSU: EVGA - 650W ATX Power Supply (100-N1-0650-L1)

Do I need to change something?

is that sshd a fire cuda? i think a 1 tb HDD+240gb ssd makes a better value than sshd.
also, is that evga a nex or b or w series? if so, dont go for them. u have the corsair cxm450 in a deal now. its only 30 bucks.

Hey just putting in my two cents here. You definitely want to get a better power supply. A lot of people make the mistake of buying an inexpensive
PSU in their first rig to cut costs and spend elsewhere (I.E that extra $50 might be headed to a better GPU).


This is a terrible mistake, when you think of PSU's, always keep "Buy cheap, buy twice" in mind. Ultimately everyone has developed their own brand preferences, Corsair has never done me wrong personally.
