A 400w PSU is cutting it too close. Get a 500-600w power supply. Note that your motherboard may need a BIOS upgrade before being usable for third generation Ryzen CPUs. Also, are you SURE you want such a small SSD? If you're going to store files on this computer, 256GB is a minimum(this includes 50GB so that your OS can be as fast and efficient as possible)

1660S, minimum 450w Good psu, which means a Dark Power, not a System Power psu from beQuiet.

Really not a fan of Adata, but 128Gb is too small, even for just a boot drive, you spend too much effort on space saving and adjusting folder locations. You'll need a seperate long term storage, minimum of 1Tb.

Rest is decent, but that's not looking like a case with good airflow characteristics.

I like Seasonic in general, but not that psu. The S12-III is not a worthy successor to the venerated S12-II imho.

Basically what this user says is correct. However, you really don't need a 1TB drive. I use a 500GB one and I'm perfectly fine.

Basically what this user says is correct. However, you really don't need a 1TB drive. I use a 500GB one and I'm perfectly fine.

about ssd. its only for boot i guess. i have 2tb hdd in this pc is that enough?
and the ssd its expensive here

Please at least try to use a 256GB SSD. The speed of some SSD's are literally 20 times better than HDD's for boot and file read/write. This can cut an hour copying files to three minutes, which is a huge speed increase.

actually i have psu corsair vx 550w on my c2d pc. is the psu fine?

For the SSD, get either this Crucial SSD or this Western Digital SSD. I really can't tell if they are QLC or TLC, or if they have any DRAM cache. They REALLY need to put that in the description.

Personally I’d pick the 2600 instead of the 3500. The 2600 has 12 threads instead of the 6 the 3500 has. We are already seeing 6 thread cpu pushed very hard in some games. I feel 6 core/thread CPU’s will soon go the way of 4 core/threads, they quickly went from sufficient for gaming to not really adequate for the latest games. However there 4 core 8 thread alternatives have aged much better.

yes, i know 2600 have 6c/12t while 3500x 6c/6t and this make me confused too which one to choose
but from what i read on internet if only for gaming then 3500x better than 2600
and if i gonna choose 2600 its better 2600x
but the price difference between 2600x and 3500x is so small <5$

There used to be a time a few years ago when faster 4 core/thread CPU’s were better for gaming than slower clocked 4 core 8 thread CPU’s. Then games started really needing more than 4 threads and the 4 thread CPU’s became poor for gaming, the 8 threads CPU’s aged much better. With games using more threads and 6 thread CPU’s already being pushed very hard in a few games my feeling is they will go the way of 4 thread CPU’s and age badly over the next few years. This is a guess based on my observations, I cannot predict the future but if it was my pc and I had those 2 options I’d pick the 2600.
