Hello there.
I build a budget gaming rig for my self. What do you think ? For how long will I be able to play games on 1080p with this build ?
Specs:

CPU:AMD FX 6300 4.6 Ghz
CPU Cooler: CM TX3 Evo
RAM: 4 GB 1333 Mhz (upgrading)
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
GPU's: 2xR9 270 MSi Gaming
HDD: 500 GB WD blue
CASE: Thermaltake Versa 2 (made myself custom side windows)
PSU: LC 600W not enought :/

So here are my questions:

1.What is the cheapest PSU that can handle this build if mine is not enought? (cheapest one possible)
2.I'm buying 8 GB (2x4) 1600 or 1866 Kingstone ram, can i pair them with my existing 2x2 (4GB) Transcend 1333 mhz , i don't care about ram speed i think speed doesnt matter in ram?
3.For how long will I be able to play games before I need to build a new build?

Thanks?

Before I answer your 3 questions, I would let you know that it may be a good idea to consider using just one R9 290x instead of the 2 R9 270's in Crossfire. In my experience it seems to be better to have 1 powerful GPU compared to 2 less powerful GPUs, this is because some games give problems with Crossfire or SLI. (Especially when they are released.)

1. This should be perfect for your PSU at only 74.99 and its EVGA, so great quality there - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438025&cm_re=750_watt_psu-_-17-438-025-_-Product

2. Yes, technically you can, however, I would just use the 2 sticks of Kingston RAM. These extra 4GB of slower, cheaper RAM isn't going to make any difference in gaming. 8 GB is fine :)

3. I would say you should be good for about 2-3 years, depending on the types of games you play. One of the reasons I would go for the 290X is that you could get one now, then 2 years down the road pick one up super cheap and crossfire them. (You would need a little beefier PSU though down the road.)

1st of all, dont get 2 270's for the same price you could probably get an r9 290! which will play 99% of games at ultra 1080p at 60+ fps. If you go with this option someone is probably gonna scream "FX 6300 Bottleneck" which isnt the case, its not going to stop you from getting 60fps on ultra, it will however stop you at about 90 to 120fps, and in games like BF4 you wont be getting the frames you will see in benchmarks, even the 8350 performs poorly on bf4.

As for PSU, dont cheap out here as the PSU is arguably the most important part in any build, but i have seen some Gold rated PSU's for a pretty low price, "EVGA Supernova 650W G1 Gold Modular Power Supply" those are about £70.

As for how long this build will play games at 1080p ultra depends on the games you play, if you are looking at ultra 1080p 60fps on the latest and greatest and hardest to run games, then an upgrade every year im afraid. But if you can settle with 1080p ultra with some AA tweaks then about 3-4 years, but the cpu will hold you back abit.

Ok guys thanks so much.
About 2 R9 270, I know i could get an 290 or 970 but I had buoght one about a year ago and 5 days ago my cousin gave me his too so i got it for free :) For free is it good ? 😛
I'm now saving money for a extreme build i'm planing to build 2 or 3 years from now so I hope this build will last me 2 or 3 years of gaming. Btw I dont care even if I play medium :)

souly for 1080p regardless of settings? then till the components fail or are replaced lol
