Hi, I'm building a gaming PC and I've come up with this.
How do they look? Is there anything I should change?

Intel i5-3470 3.2GHz
Gigabyte H77 D3H
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM 1600MHz
Samsung 840 120GB
WD 500GB Caviar Blue
Sapphire HD7870XT 2GB
Samsung 24x DVD
Corsair CX500M
Sharkoon T28 (Blue)
Windows 7 Home Edition 64bit

the blue's are crappy. the blacks are really nice though. the greens are slow. the reds are for enterprise use.

Build is great. I would get a 600w psu though just to have some room for possible upgrades and OC !

On the other hand, I have a 500gb WD caviar blue HDD running great for almost 3 years now. never had an issue. Now I have it running as a secondary disc and my main is a seagate barracuda 1tb.

So I should get a 600W PSU? Any PSUs that you guys would recommend over the Corsair CX series?
Also, which will be a good HDD other from the WD Caviar Blue? I thought it was pretty reliable with good reviews.

Well, under usage you would be around 335W of power consumption, so with 500w you are good to go, but if you intend to add another 7870 later on for crossfire, or get a faster CPU, or do OC, it is always better to have some room to do so. if you can get a 600W PSU for little or no difference... it would be great, if not, you will be more than OK.
you can also get an i5 3570K which would be awesome to do some OC and get to 4.3-4.5Ghz on air with a cheap coolermaster 212 evo, but you will need a P77 or Z77 mobo.

otherwise, if you are on a tight budget, your build is solid and I woudn't change a thing !
