Hello.

Ive decided to build a new pc and i would like some opinions on the items ive chosen and id like to know if there are better alternatives to my build that will allow me to save some money. My main use of pc is gaming. Im kinda noob so any opinios and corrections are appreciated.

Here we go:

1. Intel Core i7-4790K Socket 1150 'Devils Canyon' (22nm) Quad Core Processor.
2. MSI N780 GeForce GTX 780 Lightning Graphics Card - 3GB.
3. Corsair Memory XMS3 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 11-11-11-30 Dual Channel (ive got 4 gb on my old rig so that makes it 12 GB)
4. MSI Z97 GAMING 5, Intel Socket 1150 Performance Motherboard.
5. Seagate ST1000DM003 1TB SATA 3 Hard Drive 7200rpm 64MB Cache OEM.
6. Corsair CP-9020015-UK CX 750W Power Supply 80+ Bronze (PSU).

Ive chosen sli supported card and motherboard, so maybe in the future i might decide to buy another gtx780 for more performance.

Thank you.

Solution
You should go:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 Extreme4
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 2x4GB,G.Skill Ares 2x4GB or Patriot 3 Low Profile Blue 2x4GB all 1600 MHz
HDD: Seagate 1TB
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W,Antec HCG 750M,Rosewill CAPSTONE 750M or XFX COre 750W.
GPU: Gigabyte G1 Gaming or ASUS Strix GTX 970
That would be better for gaming. 😉

Solution
i would personally go with asrock or asus on mobo, thats personal, + wd hdd

and a better PSU, a decent one like seasonic evga antec ect

also im not sure what you want that for but thats quit powerful,

i7 is not good for gaming its a waste(kind of)gt, i would go with 4690k if its for gaming,

+ im not good at graphics :| wait for someone elses opinion on that !

So...

Intel Core i5-4690K Socket 1150
ASRock Z97 EXTREME4 Socket 1150 Motherboard
MSI GTX 970 GAMING Twin Frozr V 4GB
XFX Core Edition P1-750S-NLB9 750W Power Supply

then? id like to stick with the RAM ive got, cause i want to make use of the ones ive got, is that ok? And i couldnt find the GPU youve posted in your reply but theres a bundle
Asus Z97 Maximus VII Ranger Motherboard + STRIX GTX 970 Direct CUII OC Graphics Card. Is that worth considering?
