Is this build looking good?

This is my 3rd build, it will be my first very powerful build. I have a raw budget of $2000 without any monitor or ssd (you will see later) and want a very good gaming/work computer. I play games like: Mafia 2/3, GTA, CS:GO, Battlefield, Batman, etc... So far this is what I have come up with, the only thing I am not VERY confident on is my RAM and motherboard. Motherboard being; I am getting a X99 Chip set CPU and the Broadwell-E (X99) chips may require a BIOS update(I would need to get a different X99 chip to update). As for the SSD, unless you're doing a lot of high I/O work, you'll never notice the difference between a PCIe SSD and a SATA SSD. So I'd go with the 850 Evo. If you wanted to go with a NVMe PCIe SSD, then I'd recommend the Samsung 950 or wait till the 960 Evo comes out.

Oh one last thing. Since you're getting a full tower, you may want to pick up an extension cable for the 8pin CPU socket. The PSU may have a long enough cable, but a full tower may be stretching the limits.

Should be fine. For case fans, unless your generating a ton of heat those 3 fans will be fine. For doing any big overclocks you might want to look at a different cooler. The NH-U9S is a good cooler but something like a Cryorig H5 Universal would bring the temps down a bit. Beyond that, since you're filling all your RAM slots and bigger air coolers will overhang the RAM slots, you'll want to go with an AIO water cooler. For an AIO I'd go with a Nzxt Kraken x61 since you have room for a good 280mm cooler in that full tower. There are better ones on the market but you jump from the $100ish price tag to $300ish.

Have the full towers been units with bottom mounted PSU's? I ask because I just built up a largish midtower case and ran in to needing one because routing the cables in that particular case cost me about an inch. But if you don't need it, then awesome, one less part to buy.

If you can afford it, PCI-E all the way. The 850-EVO is great by all means, but if you can afford a PCI-E SSD, get it. The worst performing PCI-E SSDs will perform multiple times better than any SATA Drive ever will. Change your PSU! Why do people always have amazing systems powered by crappy PSUs. Get something like the Corsair AX760. Why do you need 6 cores?! For gaming that's crazy overkill, and unless you do heavy video editing or rendering, it's just stupid. You do know what Noctua coolers look like, don't you? Maybe replace the fan with a good Corsair one or something. If you are working and gaming on this, 1.4 TB is going to get used up fast. There are 2TB for just $10 more. RAM is overly priced, available for $130 elsewhere. Maybe consider a different Graphics Card. The FTW series is just plain bad. It's low clock speeds with a boosted price. If you want RGB, there are great Asus and Zotac cards cheaper with higher clocks.

You're right on the PCIe SSD, the thing is, unless your using programs that take advantage of it you're paying a serious price increase for performance you'll never realistically see. I think once Samsung drops their new 960 line we'll see some price drops that might make the NVMe drives more worthwhile for the cash.

I think you'll like that cooler. Its one of my favorites to install. The longer, flexible tubes, make it easy to install and the software is a bit more stable than some of the other solutions out there. Just make sure to get the instructions and software online, the included material is a bit thin. Also looking up youtube howto videos help a lot with the building process.
