yes, what i would get

you can find a r7250 correct?

if you can't get that and budget is too tight you can shave 4 gbs of ram too, you can add 4 later to get 8 in total

r7 350 is a bit unpopular, is mostly for asia markets but sometimes you see couple on stores, it is cheap, almost as good as the 759ti and is cheap

the r7 250, i have one here, is decent enough for gaming at hd resolutions like 720p or 768p

remember that if some of the programs you use for video editing uses cuda to accelerate the process, a amd gpu will not be useful at all, only for gaming because cuda is nvidia technology and amd can't use that

that cpu for assasins cred? no

is only 2 cores, slow cores

you need 4 cores for that game

mp4 edition also ask for 4 cores to do it as fast as possible

the ram, 8 gbs is what you need for editing

the gt 730 is ok for casual gaming at lower resolutions, but there is 3 gt 730, two are slow and one is sort of decent, that one is the slow one, ram in it is slow

if you want it for video editing, you need a 750ti, faster ram bus and more cuda cores, that 730 will not make you happy

the cpu, are you getting it as a second hand offer?

This is to low end to game on. Save up some more for at least a g4560 + 1050/rx 460 combo.

But can it be enough to just record music or process files?
basic stuff like MS Office , FL Studio, Ableton?

What I recommend for you to do is get a pentium g4560 + b250 board and 8gb of ram. You can then later upgrade to a decent gpu to game. The integrated graphics come really close to the 730 on the g4560. Also that celeron is to weak to work in ableton efficiently.

Nope its all brand new just researched from other stores whats there cheapest
so a 4 core processor
8 GB RAM
Nvidia 750ti
i'm just looking for a setup for basic video and music editing.
not that expensive
i just need to upgrade my old pentium e2160 and asus p5s mx se mobo which has gone through water but still worsk now but slowly.
Thanks.

to edit audio yes but the soundcard in it is not good at all and any audio effect or filter you apply will take alot longer on that cpu

i rally recomend you to get a better mainboard and a 4 cores cpu or at least a cpu with 4 threads like the g4560 that is also faster

for audio edition the 8 gbs i mention will come handy

for office any crap is enough, this will work great for office tasks

that ableton, no idea what it is but in their site says that it should be enough, that celeron and 4 gbs of ram

if you are on a strict budget, i would try to find a used i5 office pc, a dell or something like that, add 4 gbs of ram and put the gpu, one low profile like a 750, that will be 2 or 3 times better than this list of parts you have here

i don't like ecs mainboards, they die in weird ways

if you are really low on budget, the pentium you have is basically the same as that celeron or even faster than the celeron, so it is not a good idea to buy it if you want a replacement/upgrade pc

a 1030, when/if released will be the same thing as the 730, a hit and miss, expensive and with a bunch of models with weird results

you can get a 750ti, 1 gb, used and push it in video editing and games that you mentioned and will not disapoint you, just get it as cheap as possible

if you are low on budget and trying to save parts, what parts form the old pc can you save?

you found those parts cheap because they are crap, especially the mainboard

i would buy a a8 cpu, a cheap mainboard and see if i can save the ram i have already, perhaps use the gpu on the a8 and thats it, no gpu

all depends on what is the water damage you mention and how bad the problem is

I cant save any parts from the pc cause it got wet, even the graphics card which was first hit, and got the capacitors bloated so it slows
Pentium E2160 is 1.80Ghz Compared to Celeron Which is 2.80 Ghz

Anyways i found a new setup with one you recommended
pentium g4560 - 2,995 Pesos
biostar H119MHV3 Ver. 7 - 2,350 Pesos
8 GB RAM - 1,950 Pesos
Sapphire R7-250 2GB DDR3 128 bit - 3,150
so it would be a 10,000 + Pesos Budget

thanks.

Nope the 1030 should luanch the 8th and should be faster than the 750ti. Should be a match for the rx550. Least thats what Nvidia perposed the card for. Just draws less power and more compatible with DX12. Its expected to be $69~79.

if it is 69, is a no brainier, buy it

now, if you haven't read the op is asking for pesos prices, this i assume is for mexico

any other market outside usa will not get that price and will not get that product in at least 2 months being optimistic, realistic, i wanted a scanner, finally this year i found it at the promised price, from 2 years ago, now that scaner should cost alot less on usa but here, costs the same when it was released

this will give you the perspective of how prices and availability works in most markets with most pc hardware

not always you find second hand something decent and cheap, his cpu and mainboard are quite decent and has space to grow

a old mainboard most times is not viable to upgrade on some markets in decent prices, sometimes people asks for almost the same price it used to cost, used market on some countries is useful for some parts but on others is not really existent

still, worth to try to find a gtx 750ti, sometimes you get lucky and find a combo, a old but decent i5, a decent mainboard with ddr3 and the gpu

Timing wasn't the point. Saying it was the same thing as a 730 was. Its a 35w 750ti killer and should equal the rx550.

it is a old gpu, but sounds decent enough

in your case consider assemble first the pc and then buy the gpu, don't hurry to buy anything, the idea is to buy something decent and not expensive, the gpu on the cpu you mentioned should keep you entertained for some time while you find the right gpu

so here's my plan

1
Biostar H110MHV3 Ver. 7 1151 Socket
then 2
Intel Pentium G4400 3.3 ghz 1151 Socket
3
Kingston HyperFury 4 GB DDR3 at 1866(OC)
4
OS: Windows 8 64 Bit
5
Radeon HD 7670 4GB DDR5

Good enough?

but you changed the cpu, for a 2 cores and 2 threads, the idea is keep the g4560 if you can

there is a msi and a gigabyte mainboard practically identical to the biostar, i do like ore msi than biostar, but biostar is decent enough

the mainboard is ddr3, but the other i mention are ddr4, ddr3 is in the way of being replaced by ddr4, so you could consider going for ddr3, at the moment, the prices of ddr3 and ddr4 are practically identical, as in identically expensive :(

i was confusing the 7670 with another, your original plan of r7 250 is alot faster than that

what i would buy is

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/H110M-A-M-2/

and a pentium g4560

the ram would be ddr4 2400mhz, the one you find, kingston, patriot, corsair, 4 gbs should help you alleviate the cost a bit but do consider to buy a single 8 gb module, under certain circumstances you will need it, not for audio edition, but for video, mp4 edition you might need it sooner than later

the windows, if you have the license, that is fine, if you don't have the license, well, i would prefer windows 10 with the watermark asking you to activate it :D

the gpu as i said before, when you are in need, just use the onboard intel gpu, it is slow, not pretty, but is there for free, so use it while you find the money and time to find a gtx750ti, or a 1030 when is available, or a r7 350, i bet you find one very cheap

i was going to build this same thing the last month, but i had a problem, that you might find too, the h110 needs a bios update to use the g4560 cpu, unless you find a very new mainboard, that asus, or a msi, or a asrock, or a gigabyte,(almost all identical, seriously) you will need to update bios with the help of a old cpu someone lend you for this, on some stores they are very kind, especially if you buy them all the parts so they will do it for free and you will get a 2 cores and 4 threads cp, decent enough for the editing tools you want adn good for playing games

so best would be
the biostar lga1151 mobo
Kaby Lake Pentium G4560
8GB DDR3 Ram
GTX750ti
we dont yet have here R7 350 and the GTX750ti is a bit expensive though i would really save up for it.
Thanks. :)
