Hello, I'm going to buy this components to build a computer and in the next months add a GPU (looking forward for a GTX1080). This is what I can afford here in Argentina. My doubt is if it is worthy to buy an unlocked CPU for this components (just in case I want to overclock in the future, I'm not sure). Or anything else you would change. My idea is to build a Mid/High end gaming PC, hope my choices are worthy.

CPU: INTEL CORE I7 7700K 4.20 GHz
COOLER: COOLERMASTER HYPER 212 LED
MOTHER: GIGABYTE GA-Z270 GAMING 3
RAM: 2X8 DDR4 3200 CORSAIR LPX BLACK
STORAGE: HDD 2TB SATA3 64MB WD BLUE
PSU: CORSAIR CX750M SEMI MODULAR 80 PLUS
CASE: CARBIDE 400C BLACK SF

Thank you very much!

For that price level, I recommend Ryzen 1600 + MSI pc mate. Best bang for the money, and spend the money on a good gpu/PSU. However, if you have enough money, 8400 will be better for gaming although not worth $100 more imo.

Well depending on price you could always get the 7700 (non K), a B250 motherboard and 16gb of 2400mhz RAM which should save you enough money to get something decent such as the 1050 ti for now until you can get that 1080. Another option is the R5 1600/B350 MB & 16gb of 2666+ RAM.

Also the CXM 750W is a bit overkill, even with a GTX 1080. If it's cheaper go with the 550 or 650 version.

Is the price of a i5-8400/Z370 motherboard cheaper then that build you posted? If so then that's another good option.

Do you have any older GPUs you can plug in? If so I would say it isn't a bad idea. But if you are going to run a few months on the Intel graphics, well, you won't be able to play a whole lot of games. But I have a 7700k and a GTX1080, and that can pretty much run anything, so waiting might be worth it.

If you wanted a really cheap GPU now, buy a used mid-range card like a GTX650 or thereabouts. Anything new would be quite a chunk of money. (nearly $100 US to get anything better than the Intel graphics)

Alternatively, build around an unlocked i5-7600k and get something like a GTX1050Ti. You can always sell a GPU for a little less then you paid for it.

Can you list the price in $ of your choices and total budget you can afford now? Do you have a monitor? 1080 will be overkill for 1080p monitors. We may help you cut cost on unnecessary spending and meet your needs. What is your ideal gaming resolution and FPS? AAA games?

What is your exact monitor? What games do you play? If it's under 100hz refresh rate, there is no need for the unlocked 7700k.

That CPU cooler is normal overpriced. The cryorig h7 can normally bought around the same price and performs alot better.

With this budget build, I definitely recommend adding an SSD. Even if it means downgrading your HDD to 1tb.

That PSU isn't good quality and performing wise. The lower wattage ones are actually better (CX550m and CX650M). 550w is more than enough for your build. With these components, you should be looking at higher quality units though, like the EVGA G2, EVGA G3, Corsair RMX, Seasonic Focus, or Bitfenix whisper.
Remember the PSU is the most important part of the build.

What retailers are you purchasing from? What is your budget?

Well, thank you everyone for the responses.

This is the monitor I actually have http://www.lg.com/hk_en/monitor/lg-23MP55HQ

There are not variety here in Argentina, 8600k has not arrived yet

I have a very old GPU, I don't think it will be useful. Yesterday I went to ask for different budgets in some stores, some said to go for an I5 7400, 7500, 7600. Other said I should go for an Ryzen 1600 (it's a bit cheaper) and buy a GTX 1070.

Later I will try to convert some prices to dollars and post them.

Thank you all!

Is it posible to overclock a Ryzen 5 1600 or am I just saying nonsenses? Totall ignorance. How long do you think I will be able to play with high resolution? (buying a GTX 1070)

Your Ryzen 5 1600 paired with a GTX 1070 will be more than enough for 60Hz 1080p gaming. You should be able to play AAA titles at that resolution for at least the next few years along with medium-high settings at 1440p.

Overclocking your CPU and GPU will push things even further. I would suggest pushing your CPU to somewhere around 3.8GHz or more.

Well, I just found out that a store here just received some i5 8400. The prices I have right now is:
AMD Ryzen 1600: 270 dollars
I5 8400: 290 dollars
Asus Z370-plus Gaming (cheaper I found): 211 dollars
ASUS B350-plus prime: 134 dollars

Is really a big difference beetween the 8th gen Intel and this AMD to pay 97 dollars of difference?

Msi B350m Gaming Pro: 110 USD
Msi B350 Pc Mate: 133 USD
Asus Rog Strix B350-f Gaming Rgb Led: 167 USD
Gigabyte Ga Ab350 Gaming 3: 130 USD
Asus Prime X370 Pro: 203 USD
Msi X370 Gaming Plus: 158 USD
Msi X370 Gaming Pro Carbon: 234 USD
Msi X370 Krait Gaming: 192 USD
Gigabyte Ga Ax370 Gaming K5 X370: 228 USD

This prices could be 5% cheaper or more expensive, depends where you buy it and how much is the dollar in Argentina at that time..

Well, getting all together it would be something like this:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600: $271,65
GPU: GTX 1070 ASUS ROG STRIX 8GB: $595,58
RAM: Corsair Vengance DDR4 LPX Black 3000Mhz 2x8GB: $250,00
Mother: Msi B350m Gaming Pro: $122,22
Storage: KINGSTON 240GB UV400: $142,93
PSU: EVGA 600W 100B1-0600-KR: $112,35
Case: Raidmax Alpha Prime A15 White: $91,67

Prices converted to dollars may be a bit different, not very significative. It's OK this RAM memory? Something a little bit lower could be ok too? The PSU is ok? Something better?

Ok, so PSU Corsair CX650M.

They don't give the exact RAM model number, that's how Argentina works... I assume they are CL16 by the prices. I will now send an email with the list of components to some stores so they tell me how much it would cost the PC and the ram model number. Something like an Corsair Vengance DDR4 LPX Black 3000Mhz CL16 it would be OK? To have a reference

Oh, I misunderstood your comment about the Motherboard, MSI PC Mate then, It's not a big price difference. On the other hand, an gkill v series 2x8GB it's out of budget. The one I found is gskill f4-3000c15s-16gvr (1x16GB) for 211 USD. For the same price there is a gskill F4-2133C15D-16GVR (2x8GB)
