Im about to buy all the components for a new PC and I'd like an opinion before I do so!

Cpu: 8600k
Mobo: z370p d3
Ram: kingston fury 2x4gb (2666mhz cl15)
Hdd: wd black 1tb
Cooler: BeQuiet dark rock 3 (non pro)
PSU: Seasonic SS-520GB, 520W
Case (irelevant but oh well..): MS Dark Shadow (probably, might go something different with 5 fans or so...)

That's my money cap limit for the next 2 months, by which I'll be using the integrated gpu 'uhd 630'.

But I'll add ssd (Samsung 850 evo 240gb) and some low-middle class gpu (rx 460-gtx1050)

*I don't intend to use it for heavy gaming, only slight (dota 2) and I'll be using it mostly for music producing.
Hence the strong cpu!

So, what do you think, any suggestions?

Also, bonus question: Will I be able to overclock the cpu with the mentioned cooler? If so, slight or medium to high?

Thanks! :))

If that graphics power (1050) is enough for you, i'd consider waiting for the new APUs of AMD.
If there will be a 6-Core (perhaps 12-thread) CPU with a Vega-GPU on-chip, like a Ryzen 5 2600G, that would solve your budget-problem.
And even if not, they will put pressure on the prices of the 1050 and 1030 class, so waiting might be a good idea. Won't take long.
